Christopher completed his B.Com. at McGill University in 2003 and his LL.B. at the University of Ottawa in 2008.  He articled with a prominent Toronto litigation boutique.

Christopher has made appearances at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice,the Ontario Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.  His practice focuses on acting on behalf of insurers in the defence of tort and accident benefits claims; representing insurers in priority disputes and loss transfer matters. He has co-authored papers that have been presented at Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers seminars.

 

Christopher is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Advocates Society and the Canadian Defence Lawyers Assoc.

 

Decisions:
Graham et al v. Lemay et al., 2012 ONSC1655 Successful defence of a motion brought by the plaintiffs to compel second attendance of a representative of the defendant at an Examination for Discovery.
Aviva Canada Inc. v. Wawanesa Insurance and American Home Assurance Company (Arbitrator Samworth) Successfully awarded costs in regard to a priority dispute between insurers.
